ABC SOLUTIONS TO THE CLIMATE CHANGE CRISIS

The brief meeting with Ms. Leyla Hasanova, Youth Climate Champion, reinforced the belief that youth are today's change-makers. She supported getting all universities in Azerbaijan involved in the Net Zero University Campus movement.

MOBILIZING UNIVERSITY NETWORKS FOR GLOBAL CLIMATE GOALS

This event was held at COP29, Baku, discussing the power of networks of universities. Dr. Rajendra Shende spoke about SCCN, focusing on Centres of Excellence in the universities to upskill the students for Net Zero around the world.

UNIVERSITIES DRIVING CLIMATE ACTION AND TRANSITION 

At the Canada Pavilion, SCCN focused on combining various knowledge systems to drive climate action. Accelerating them needs sharing knowledge & fostering innovation. Innovative initiatives for community knowledge transfer, impacts, and experiences were discussed.

INTERNATIONAL YOUNG FILMMAKERS ARE AWARDED

Dr. Rajendra Shende awarded the young filmmakers in the China Pavilion at COP29, Baku. The event was a platform for youth to engage in dialogue, exchange ideas, and propose innovative approaches to addressing climate challenges.
