You Voice it, We spread it
Overview
Climate Change and United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) are two of the most important global issues on which countries have agreed to take action in 2015. The countries after three years are at various degrees of implementation in mitigating climate change and achieving SDGs.
SCCN has initiated a unique project of 'Gen-Z Manifesto' by interviewing the youth on most defining issue of our times: Climate change and threat to life on the Earth.
Giving platform to young minds to allow them to express their views has become critical for a sustainable future. Their opinions are important and demands to be heard by the leaders and governments. Youth are the future of every nation and hence, understanding their expectations is one of the top priorities for the current policy and law makers, including those who are working for the youth's career development.
Smart Campus Cloud Network (SCCN) in partnership with Human Infinite and Yuva Samvad would conduct the campaign of 'Gen-Z Manifesto'.
About the campaign
The campaign will be non-political. It will hold no alliance or affiliation towards any political party.
The youth would be asked following type of questions (though the exact nature of the questions may change)
1. What are the key environmental challenges that India is facing for upcoming government to work on?
2. How the future government should address the challenges of climate change, loss of biodiversity
and how urgently?
