MIT Pune initiated IOT workshop

"The Internet of Things (IOT) is a system of interrelated computing devices, mechanical and digital machines, objects, animals or people that are provided with unique identifiers and the ability to transfer data over a network without requiring human-to-human or human-to-computer interaction.

Understanding IOT is the next big thing. SCCN would be using IOT extensively in its cloud platform for the campuses to compare their sustainability performance."

IIT Powai conducted the IoT workshop and competition under Techradiance, powered by Harbour Technology. Abhishek Chaudhary, student from MITCOE 2nd year Electronics and Telecommunication branch, along with other 4 participants from MIT campus (as a team) won the Zonal competition conducted in MIT Kothrud campus on 27th and 28th February, 2017.

Winner of all Zonal Centers were invited to participate in the Final Round of Techradiance at Radiance IIT Bombay. The MIT team participated in Grand finale at IIT Powai campus on 4th and 5th March and Won the 1st prize of IoT competition.
