Stanford Alumni and Co-founder of SlideShare join Advisory Council Smart Campus Cloud Network

TERRE Policy Centre, Pune 27 May, 2017 - Cyber experts, Ram Subramaniam a promoter of disruptive innovation based in Bay area, USA and Amit Ranjan an architect of India's e-governance, New Delhi have joined the Advisory Council of Smart Campus Cloud Network (SCCN), a flagship project of TERRE Policy Centre.

Ram Subramaniam has formerly worked with NASA, Dow Chemical, CITI and Emirates Airlines. He founded Shiva Corporation, a management-consulting firm in the U.S and Money Karma, a consumer wealth management advisory firm. He is a visiting Professor at IISC Bangalore and various IIMs in India, and Board Member of Incubator at IIM-Rohtak. A passionate innopreneur and potent mentor says, "SCCN would be an extension of my craving for start-ups at the breeding ground-educational campuses".

Amit Ranjan, a co-founder of SlideShare acquired by Linkedin and later by Microsoft, considers Indian ecosystem as a magnet to attract talents. He is an architect for Digital India Program and OpenForge, platform which is important part of Prime Minister Modi's pet project - Digital India. OpenForge promotes open collaborative development of e-governance application. He is one of the key players at the National e-Governance Division, Ministry of Electronics & IT, Government of India. "I am convinced that SCCN has powerful elements to explore India's digital potential by engaging youth from campus", says Amit.

SCCN is privileged to welcome on-board, Ram and Amit to the existing Advisory Council of Rabiz Foda, Jayant Sathaye and Karan Mangotra. "Amit and Ram's welcome arrival at advisory council signifies that cloud network is now poised to take leap in cyberspace", said Rajendra Shende, Chairman of TERRE and Founder of SCCN.
