Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences was established in 1986 as an Engineering College in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. It was granted an autonomous status in 2000 and in 2004, it was declared as Deemed-to-be University by the University Grants Commission (UGC) in recognition of its academic excellence by the Ministry of Human Resources Development of the Government of India. Karunya is a Christian Minority Residential Institution approved by AICTE and accredited by NAAC. As part of its mission statement, the institution aims to drive research in areas around sustainable living.
Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences has taken smart initiatives towards creating a Green campus in the areas of green computing and waste management. The desktop infrastructure is virtualised through VMWare virtualisation technology.
Aryan Institute of Engineering and Technology (AIET) was established in the year 2009 and is one of the premier engineering colleges in the self-financing category of Engineering education in eastern India. It is situated in the temple city of Bhubaneswar, Odisha and is a constituent member of Aryan Educational Trust. It is the only engineering college in Odisha, to be accredited by NAAC, UGC and is affiliated to BPUT, Odisha. Aryan College of Engineering is listed as one of the Best Engineering Colleges of Bhubaneswar, Odisha and has been credited with many awards for Best Placements and Top Engineering College in Odisha. The college has a superb green campus spread over about 30 acres of land.
