SCCN signs MoU with HMCH

SCCN welcomes Hi-Tech Medical College & Hospital, Bhubaneswar for campus transformation

TERRE Policy Centre's project – Smart Campus Cloud Network (SCCN) aligning United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs) with campus communities is expanding to the East Coast of India.

On 18th January 2018, SCCN core team of Rajendra Shende, Chairman and Dinah Gengmei, Project Leader from TERRE Policy Centre visited the campus and organized the roundtable meet to present the detailed overview of the project to its Chairman, Dr. Tirupathi Panigrahi and its esteemed faculties.

Hi-Tech Medical College & Hospital (HMCH) is the first private medical college in the state of Odisha. From its inception, it has pledged to the service of the community, caters to the health care needs of the people in general and especially to the needy, underprivileged, and suffering section of humanity in particular. Taking its social responsibilities to global targets, HMCH has signed a MoU with TERRE Policy Centre to implement sustainable measures to effectively contribute to UNSDGs.

Dr. Panigrahi is ambitious in transforming the HMCH campus into Smart Campus. "I am encouraged to make HMCH a part of SCCN. It is undoubtedly a great way to start New Year and not just spread awareness among students, but getting their participation in implementation ground will be a transforming experience. We are all ready to initiate smart and sustainable activities in HMCH," he said.

"Initiatives like SCCN deserves complete cooperation from campuses and we are extremely excited to be a part of it," added Mr. Rupesh Panigrahi, Trustee Member of HMCH.
