TERRE Policy Centre and MIT World Peace University held high level consultation on localising SDGs in university campuses on 15th November 2019. Prof. Dr. S. Parasuraman, Vice-Chancellor of MIT WPU and Former Director / Vice-Chancellor of Tata Institute of Social Sciences said, "SDGs implementation has to be a bottom-up approach". He added, "The most powerful starting point is to localise SDGs in university campuses".
A policy paper and structured approach on such bottom-up concept is under preparation and will be proposed for all campuses under SCCN.
