TERRE Policy Centre's International E-Internship Program (IEIP) is specially designed for undergraduates who are about to graduate and the students above grade 10 of international high schools. Under the guidance of the international team led by Dr. Rajendra Shende, former Director of United Nations Environment Program (UNEP), Coordinating Lead Author of IPCC (Inter- governmental Panel of Climate Change) which won Nobel Peace Prize in 2007, Chairman of TERRE Policy Centre, and this internship covers topics related to:

1.Climate Change including challenges and solutions in meeting the objectives of Paris Climate Agreement of United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and Nationally Determined Contributions for emission reduction including the role of Clean Energy, transport, and agriculture;

2.Conservation of Biodiversity including UN Convention of Biodiversity (CBD), the importance of tree plantation and urban forestry;

3.Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and role of Smart School and University Campus.

One of the key domination of the e-Internship would be Research and Project to be carried out by the interns. It would include desk research, writing of project documents, research papers, developing Social Media platforms in English. At the end of the successful e- internship, the certificate of completion would be presented to interns.

Tutors and mentors are the experts from international backgrounds. Former Under-Secretary-General of United Nations, UN Ambassador for biodiversity. Education experts from UNESCO, UNEP and UNFCCC would provide guest lectures.

4.Networkinginteract with internationally renowned experts, get to know their work.

5.Interpersonal skills and exposure to international tutors.

6.Build career in discharging duties in national and international development;

7.Enhance your job-hunting competitiveness - internship experience and certificates under the guidance of Nobel laureates will help your recruitment effort to best universities, or future job-hunting and career development.

8.IEIP Certificate is valued for getting admission in Universities abroad.

Two batches of internship has been completed with students from Ireland, USA, India, and China. Currently, the 3rd Batch of internship is going on.
