Making Teachers SDGs-ready

Mr. Rajendra Shende, Chairman TERRE Policy Centre was invited as an expert guest to speak on Sustainable Development Goals and relevance of sustainable development for educational campuses. As a part of climate education, TERRE under its Smart Campus Cloud Network (https://www.sccnhub.com) and the Climate Reality Project (www.climatereality.org.in) organized Green Campus Program (GCP), which is built on bringing change and having a deeper positive environmental impact. To bring the change in educational campuses, master training for 40 people from each DES institute (Deccan Education Society) was organized on 25th & 26th September 2019. SCCN was featured during this event, wherein Mr. Shende talked about how teachers can become SDGs-ready to impart same knowledge and vision to their students. 

Further to this event, Climate Reality (www.climatereality.org.in) and TERRE Policy Centre (http://terrepolicycentre.com) signed Letter of Intent to formalise their interest to collaborate their synergies - Green Campus Program (GCP) and Smart Campus Cloud Network (SCCN).
