Thiagarajar Polytechnic College, fondly called as TPT is the root of the educational edifice, Sona Group of Institutions, Salem, Tamil Nadu. With a rich legacy and tradition spanning over 65 years, TPT stands tall and has become the foundation for the Sona Group. TPT was granted academic autonomy in the year 1987 and five programmes offered by the institution have been accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) for the third term of six years consecutively.
