Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College (JGEC), established in 1961, is a premier institution offering quality technical education in India.It is located in Jalpaiguri, West Bengal, it holds the distinction of being the second-oldest engineering college in the state of West Bengal.

Affiliation and Accreditation:

JGEC is an autonomous college fully owned by the Government of West Bengal and is affiliated with the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT).
The courses offered are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
