U-Turn from Carbon Footprint to Campus Handprint

When the world is abuzz with "Sustainability", SCCN believes in taking this concept closer to everyone with the help of a HANDPRINT.

Initiatives with a positive impact, can be named – HANDPRINT. The Handprint concept captures the energy which young people see in themselves and desire to do things for a better future.

FOOTPRINT itself sets a strong benchmark and has established a common metric for everyone to compare the impact that is put on natural resources. Once the Handprint is larger than the Footprint, we can say that the goal has been achieved.

Handprint is a positive action, commitment, measurement; it also means connecting – joining hands, a symbol of care. Actions are intentional and so, is Handprint.

CAMPUS HANDPRINT is an initiative within SCCN that signals the beginning of the actions in reducing the Ecological Footprints starting with Carbon Footprint in newly registered campus. The collective 'Ecopreneurship' of Smart Campus Cloud Network (SCCN), we believe, creates a network of Smart Campuses for a tangible contribution by youth to the United Nations SDGs.

Educational campuses are our country's growth engines and SCCN has started taking concrete steps to create awareness amongst the youth in these campuses. SCCN is being appreciated and encouraged by many colleges and universities in India on a regular basis.
