Eco-friendly and Sustainable Campus Development

The University Grants Commission (UGC) India hosted a meeting on 9^th April 2019 to streamline environment and sustainable activities in the educational campuses. The commission in its 540^th meeting on 9^th April decided to develop a guideline on 'Eco-friendly and Sustainable Campus Development'.

Smart Campus Cloud Network (SCCN) will be an instrumental tool for this initiative by introducing and deploying the digital technologies, as a catalyst to advance sustainable activities in the campus.

The first meeting of the expert committee to develop guidelines for the same was held on 6^th August 2019 in the UGC Office, New Delhi.
