Eco-friendly and Sustainable Campus Development

The University Grants Commission (UGC) India hosted a meeting on 9th April 2019 to streamline environment and sustainable activities in the educational campuses. The commission in its 540th meeting on 9th April decided to develop a guideline on 'Eco-friendly and Sustainable Campus Development'.

Smart Campus Cloud Network (SCCN) will be an instrumental tool for this initiative by introducing and deploying the digital technologies, as a catalyst to advance sustainable activities in the campus.

The first meeting of the expert committee to develop guidelines for the same was held on 6th August 2019 in the UGC Office, New Delhi.

The constitution of expert committee (working group) is as under:
