PSCDCL chief executive officer Rajendra Jagtap expressed, "Our efforts are aimed at creating awareness about right of way for bicycles. We are bringing back the concept of cycling in the city and the pilot will help people understand the feel as well as receive feedback." In the discussion, Dr. Nitin Karmalkar said, "It was a proud moment for SPPU students and faculties to be a part of India's first public bicycle sharing project that was launched in Pune."

Dr. Karmalkar also expressed his concern for E-waste management in campus. SPPU will form SCCN core group in the campus and coordinate in close-knit with SCCN team to head-start the E-waste management in SPPU.

Rajendra Shende said, ''E-waste collections and processing, energy efficiency and the Campus Audit will set the base line scenario of SCCN in SPPU."
